PPE 4 Community CIC is a community organisation based in Stoke-On-Trent which manufactures, produces and donates PPE (Personal protective equipment) such as face masks and other PPE items to vulnerable people including elderly people, vulnerable people of BAME ethnic origin, unemployed people, and at high risk individuals in the communities of Stoke-On-Trent and West Midlands and to front line care workers.
The organization also donates food items to vulnerable people, and individuals living in poverty including homeless people and homeless supporting organisations in the Staffordshire and West Midlands regions. The organisation also distributes project literature, COVID-19 literature, an award winning COVID-19 app, and other physical and mental health awareness materials in the community.
PPE 4 Community CIC also provides empowerment, educational and engaging activities such as arts, employability and mental health support and other services it deems necessary to support the community during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The organisation supports vulnerable elderly people and front line carers (service users), and other community organisations during the COVID-19 pandemic to minimize isolation, enhance dignity, and support physical and mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic. PPE 4 Community CIC bridges the gap between vulnerable people, as well as elderly people in their care homes and provide supply of much needed PPE items to minimize infection and transmission of COVID-19 in elderly care homes
To further support the community in the battle against COVID-19; PPE 4 Community is working towards providing 50 Carer and support worker jobs in the Staffordshire and West Midlands regions.
